Rachel Butler | Senior Vice President, Family Office and Investor Relations
Rachel Butler has an entrepreneurial background, which has included the founding and building of two companies. One of these was Asthma Magazine, a comprehensive source of patient education for asthma and allergy patients. It was used as the primary tool for patient education by the National Institutes of Health in their nation-wide children’s asthma study (the CAMP study), as well as by health maintenance organizations, disease management companies and private practitioners throughout the country. Asthma Magazine had a strategic alliance with the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI), the American Lung Association, and the National Association of School Nurses. Rachel worked to facilitate the sale of Asthma Magazine to Elsevier Health Sciences, where she served as Editor-in-Chief for an additional five years. Rachel has also edited two books on Asthma and Allergy by renowned allergist, Paul Hannaway, MD. She is married with four children and lives in the Boston area. She received her BA from Saint Lawrence University.
