SENIOR Vice President

Slater Lawrence joined Cavendish Global in 2014 as the Director of Strategic Alliances. In this capacity, Slater identified and implemented strategic partnerships, as well as impact investment and philanthropic opportunities.

Slater previously worked as a journalist for an NGO, The Parliamentary Monitoring Group (PMG), in Cape Town, South Africa where he reported on the Select Committee on Finance and Portfolio Committee on Health, subsequently working for Parliament where he wrote policy papers on South Africa’s socioeconomics. Prior to PMG, Slater worked as an analyst for the Serco Group in London, England in their Health and Government sectors. In college, Slater served as the Editor in Chief for the University’s academic journal, The Underground, and was the President of Model U.N. He currently sits on the Junior Board of Directors for the Global Lyme Alliance.

Slater holds a B.A. in Political Science and Communications from St. Lawrence University.
