The Summit will highlight key areas of research in discovering effective drug candidates in prevalent diseases in Arizona while establishing collaborations that enable success in these key areas.

Registration will open at 3:00 PM for the AZBio Awards Ceremony and Fiesta. Attendees of the Cavendish Forum are invited to join the Arizona bioscience community at both the Awards Ceremony and the evening Fiesta.

Cavendish will join together with Arizona’s bioscience community, led by AZBio, for the 14th Annual AZBio Awards Ceremony. The AZBio Awards Ceremony celebrates Arizona’s leading educators, innovators and companies.

The awards ceremony will feature remarks by Douglas A. Ducey, Governor of the State of Arizona.

The 2019 Ceremony will celebrate and honor the Honorable Jane Dee Hull (AZBio Pioneer Award for Lifetime Achievement), Regenesis Biomedical, Inc. (2019 Arizona Bioscience Company of the Year), Martha Brumfield, PhD, Critical Path Institute (Jon W. McGarity Bioscience Leader of the Year), Debbie McCune Davis, TAPI (2019 Public Service Award Honoree), Monica Kraft, MD, University of Arizona (2019 Arizona Bioscience Researcher of the Year), Marti Lindsey, PhD, University of Arizona (Michael A. Cusanovich Bioscience Educator of the Year), and the AZBio Fast Lane Award Honorees: Biosensing Instrument, GT Medical Technologies, OncoMyx.

5:30 PM - 8:30 PM | Phoenix Convention Center - West Ballroom

The 14th Annual AZBio Awards Ceremony will conclude and open the Awards Fiesta, featuring cocktails and a buffet dinner, networking and exhibitions from the Arizona bioscience community. Cavendish Forum attendees are invited to join the Arizona bioscience community for the Fiesta.
